Question. What about say an XT130 with a 1X? Not exactly a Toyota motor, but it comes factory in a Toyota? Grey area?

Not that an XT130 would win anything anyway
I want to do your engine conversion wiring for you, PM me.

more than welcome to run the car... but the engine has to be Toyota to be eligible for trophies. Doesn't exactly matter what shell it's in

Don't diss the poor 1X just because it's a Holden engine with a Toyota badge on it.....

    Diss it because it's crap

Seriously, I'd accept a 1X as it is an engine found standard in a Toyota vehicle, plus I doubt it's going to win a category (although after the 1800>2800 NA category last DD anything is possible)

What about a lexcen, some people are making decent power out of the 3.8L these days.

4.4L stroker & twin turbo would give the forced induction class a nudge.
    If in doubt power out

Considering the dyno day yeah, but its always a bit of a challenge to do 2 trips in one week though, since i'll definitely be at the drags already on 22nd July.
