Default 7MGTE flywheel options - suggestions wanted.

I will be sourcing a new flywheel in the next few months for my rebuilt bottom end. Who out there has aftermarket flywheels, what brand, how many $$ and what are your impressions.

At the moment, I'm looking at xtreme crome moly one, weighing about 8KGs, for around the $400 to $450 mark.
I realise that there are lighter ones out there, but I'm also led to believe that with such a heavy car, and the low revs used by the 7M, a lighter flywheel will not be as benificial as a smaller engine / car, higher rev combo. Any thoughts?

Combo is MA71, 7MGTE, R154, currently with 300RWHP, and with more fuel and upping boost out of highflow on new motor, goal is somewhere around the 320 to 350RWHP mark, with as much torque as I can get.

    Thanks everyone.

choose what clutch you want first, as some of them need a specific flywheel...

lighter flywheel will always reduce the apparent weight of the car in 1st and 2nd most... but will make it a little harder to slip off the line..
8kg is still prettyheavy.. what is a stock one?

From what I can gather from the 'interweb experts', I think they are somewhere around 9.5kg.
My current clutch is just a heavy duty pressure plate, with full face organic disk. I am quite happy with this, as I'm not into 6000rpm clutch dumps, and not using huge power. Its easily tractable, and holds well even after a few hard laps at winton.
I'm not sure whether I'll reuse this current clutch setup as it only has about 20k on it, or whether to change disks to something slightly bitier whilst keeping the same pressure plate, or change the whole setup. Yet to be determined.
I'm pretty sure that I won't need to be getting into the multiplate setups.

    Bazooka: Pm'd.

Anyone else have any thoughts or experience? Surely someone with a 7M has changed a flywheel?

I got an XTD chrome moly on in mine. It rev's quicker, highly recommend getting a fairly light one.

TRD for xJZ is ~6kg (I weighed). And they claim that it is 24% lighter than stock.

I'd expect xJZ and 7MGTE flywheels to be pretty similar (Bar bolt pattern) as they run the same clutch factory.

Mines a cheapie from US ebay. Supramania gives XTD a bad rep for misleading people on their clutches, but i have no problem with their flywheel.
