    Default Newcastle To The Nationals

    Calling all Newie cars.

We'll be leaving from Energy Aust Stadium on Good Friday morning at 8:30am. We go up the New England Hwy thru Maitland, Rutherford, Branxton then turn off onto The Golden Hwy.
Lunch stop is at Dunedoo which is an hour from Dubbo.
ETA Dubbo 1-1;30pm provided no one has any car problems(touch wood!!)

Bring a two way radio as theres hardly any mobile reception for most of the way.
There aren't any bottleshops open on Good Friday, so get your alcohol beforehand.

Can I get a rough idea how many will be cruising from here and anyone that wants to meet us on the way just in case we need to organise a 2nd meeting point.

    Cheers Danae.

    So far there's Me

    Hi Danae,

you might need to take Neil off the list for people leaving at 8.30am
    unless:

you are prepared to put his car back together and trailer all the rest of the pieces.

BTW I dont think I've ever seen Neil out there before dark

    wishful thinking though

    Cheers

All I was trying to do was stop you's from leaving 12 hours late by waiting for Neil and thats the thanks I get

    Danae,
I reckon I'd look good in a glass house - from a big distance
Once again the cars f*cked and I have no money - usual story.

    Steve,
I dont want any rust jumping on my plastic celica
and next time it can burn, you bring the marshmallows

    Cheers

Alright everyone we need to take it easy on Troy, he can't help it if his car has never been to Dubbo
He can't help it that it caught on fire trying to keep up with the RA40
He can't help that his car has two diffs
There you go Troy I fixed them for you.

And for the record i have made it to Dubbo in daylight, last year, but not in the celica.
And for the record i am actually thinking of driving it out instead of towing it

8.30am start out. Even if the car is together I don't think there is much chance of me leaving at that time of the morning.

Oh, and I hope the glass house has frosted glass Troy
