Default Diff swap in a FWD gearbox (4agze - E51)

    Hey guys, got some questions...

i currently have a open centre diff inside my 4agze MR@ (E51 gearbox)

and picked up a tight clutch pack diff inside a gearbox with a cracked casing (also E51)

i was wondering the effort in swapping the diffs over...

or the affordabilty of taking the 2 gearboxes to a shop and asking them to swap the good diff out of the broken gearbox and putting it in the good gearbox....

    oppinions/advice VERY welcome..

    Thanks

i work for CHT i do all the gearbox rebuilds

you have to strip the whole box down and remove the input and cluster shaft then you can remove the diff.

if you want i can bring the tools home with me one weekend and we can do it at my place.
that way i can show you how to do it on the good gearbox and you can have a go on the other gearbox.
