HELP!! 1MZ-FE into ST184

hey, planning a 1mz into my 184 in the near future, looks rather straight forwards to me, but i was wondering if anyone who has done it before of knows of it could help with any possible problems i will encounter along the way?? ie: which driveshafts/gearbox did you use? what needs doing in reference to engine mounts, fuel system/ECU issues?? help would be VERY much appreciated!!
*edit* time is not an issue as the car is not needed for work and have just picked up a peice of crap daewoo. i have access to hoists, welders. but i need to establish the "worthwhileness" in doing this or am i pulling apart my 184 only to put it all back?

Well then, it sounds like its just a dream of yours. Do you actually think you will ever go foward with it? If you do it will be a tricky conversion being fwd and all. Custom engine mounts, custom cv's maybe and a fuck load of wiring issues, is there enough room for the gearbox even? exhaust being a v6 and all, have you ever done a conversion before?

and reading the other post you started i see that your still on your p's, you do know you wont be able to drive the car until your on your open's? Why dont you just put some extractors on your 184 and a really loud exhaust with a big 5" cannon on the back?

yes, ive done an FJ20 into a datsun 1600 and an LS2 into a corvette. ive seen this swap done numerous times, it does make some sense to me, theres quite a few videos of 1MZ cel;icas and even MR2's on youtube.since the camry had the 5SFE, and the V6, so all this considered i cant see much reason why the celica wouldnt support the V6, and my plans are to buy the 1mZ,and pull it apart, rebuild it whilst on the P's, i plan on pulling my 184 off the road anyway, since i dont need it to get to work(train)

the 1600 was a headache(particularly gearbox tunnel) but i want something simple and this appearts to be

oh, and btw, celica bell-housings and camry bellhousings are interchangable according to the mechanic at my work.

Cool project good luck with it. I wanted to 1MZ my AE82 for a while. Then figured out it was wrong wheel drive
