yeah, that was a result of a conversation with me. the emissions evaporation system would be hard to work around, but that system isn't in the australian ECUs anyways.Originally Posted by greywolf
the bigger problem is the transmission input RPM would not be very easy to fake. if you keep the ECU happy by making it beleive that it isn't moving, that won't let you complete the test "trips" and if you make the ECU happy by providing all the transmission signals, it'll probably occasionally lift the throttle to shift the transmission at inappropriate times.
once the Lotus evora ECU is released this will become significantly easier since all the auto tranny codes will disapear. all that will remain will be the emissions stuff and all that can be installed or worked around.
