King Springs have a range of "Prosport" coilover springs which I've found to be pretty good.

Last set I bought were $80ea, a fair bit more expensive than the $30/pair Taiwanese springs but worth it IMO.

When was the last time you bought as set?

I always got quotes of ~$200 a pair...

the prices he's quoting are whole sale. still the taiwanese springs are more like $60/pair.

king springs are good, the coilover springs are all cold wound now. but at retail, theyre not much cheaper than eibach.

I've got a pair of dud s13 coilovers from a while ago, but the springs are OK, i'll have to measure them up!

I'm hopeless with welding, so if I were to drop struts over to yourself, how much would it be for the sleeve kit + welding to my existing struts?

What shocks would compliment this change the best?
If the s13 inserts weren't so shagged, I'd just use them.

Cheers on what looks to be a top quality product mate!

i did this to some st162 struts earlier this year. i got the same sleeve kit as dimitri. well they look exactly the same. get them from a company called rallydesign in england.

it cost me $250posted due to them putting it in express post. the kit itself was only $150. but it got to me all the way from england in about 2-3days.

heres some pics. i used the king prosport plus helper/specers springs so my car didnt look like i had a lifter kit and so the springs wont become loose at full reboun if i dropped it low. aslo painted the sleeve black with the rest of the strut

koni inserts. cost me about 2k in parts free labour tho.
