    Default Injector wiring order?

Does anyone happen to know which order the wiring plugs into the injectors?

It seems that i probably should have labelled them when i took the loom out

maybe some info about which engine/car would help....generally they are only long enough to plug in correctly anyway when in the original vehicle.

You should have one side supplied with 12v when the car is running (assuming its a 12v car) and the other side will earth thru your ECU. This earthing activates the electromagnet, pulls the neddle back and lets fuel flow out the nossle. Depending on the car and age it will be either batched or sequntial injection.

More information on the car and/or engine would help.

It doesn't matter which pole of the injector has the 12v and which goes to the ECU.

Cylinders 1, 3, 5 have white wire and black&orange trace wire, Cylinders 2, 4, 6 have black wire and black&orange trace wire.
    Assuming Gen 3 1GGTE!

Where do the injectors ground out? there are two grounds coming off my loom that i could see, both in the same spot on the inlet manifold.

I have compression, spark but no fuel still.

Not sure exactly but there is a big clump of earth wires that connect under the intake plenum, possibly in amongst those

The injectors get Ignition switched +12V power on one pin (Have you checked that you have this?) and are 'grounded' by the ECU on the other pin!

The injectors do not have a constant ground.

I will check. Everything else seems to be in order, all grounds from the loom are attatched to where they should be (unless i'm missing one in the entanglement of loomage, but i doubt it)

All plugs are in, though i did have to reconnect/lengthen a snapped wire for one of the knock sensors. though, the multimeter proved that to be working when i did it.

Hmmmm. I have compression, maybe the dizzy wasn't put in right? Back to the lab.

i think 12V power to 1G injectors comes via a resistor pack? e.g.:
    batt+ --> EFI fuse & relay --> resistor pack --> injectors --> ECU --> earth

(sorry, cannot find my stock 1G wiring diags to check)

Looks like fuel is there, or so the oil tells me. Ignition timing is set. We have compression.

The cams never moved and i'm pretty sure i would be hearing mashing valves if my timing was that off, any ideas?

no to valve noise - is a non-interference engine.

Appears to be a fuel issue, no fuel getting to the rail.

Checked the return line for pressure, hahahaha.

We have 500kpa of fuel pressure and a suspected blockage at the fuel rail, a problem has been diagnosed though.

Mechanic tested for power to the injectors, which there was. Now, then he used the test light to check if it was grounding out or whatever. No, we have constant power to both sides.

Time to get this suspected blockage unblocked and then auto electrician time
