I assumed it was a GTE, but thought I should check anyway.
The reason you haven't found a doc on 1G-GTE TPS resistance value is because, well it doesn't actually have one. Let me explain.
The GTE TPS works on an arangement of switch contacts.
The first is a closed contact when the throttle is at 0%.
The second is a staggered aray that the ECU uses to calculate the speed of throttle opening. This is for the purpose of initial fuel enrichment from idle.
The third set of contacts is a cascade of 4 switches from mid throttle. This is for the final stages of throttle position.
All this complex data is then sent to the ECU via a 5 wire harness.

This is what the inside looks like.

A 7M-GE/GTE or a 1G-GZE TPS uses the conventional resistive wiper arangement. Unfortionately it is a different size and uses a different coupling mechanism to the 1G-GTE.

Is this for the purpose of fitment of an aftermarket ECU? If so there are solutions.

Thanks GTtwin - this clears up a few things for me, mainly, why I can't find any TPS resistence values in all my 1G-GTE notes.
But - is there any values for the 1G-GZE as you have mentioned above?
Or are they the same as the 7MGE/GTE?
I can't open any of your attached pics/specs...
    Thanks.

Thanks for the explanation on that. The reason was that i removed it and didnt mark it thus the wanting for how to replace it and set it up,the car is idling fine there is no imediate problem.
Yes so a how to re install TPS would be great if you could pass that on.

    Cheers Guy.

    does any one have a 1GGTE 3gen rotor button(and cap )

Sometimes my web hosting gets a bit funny. If you refresh it should work.

I don't have a 7M here at the moment, (the MA-70 is elswhere, long story), but they look identical from memory. I can't imagine Toyota using a totally different resistance TPS for pretty much the same application.

I have had a stab at setting my TPS using the same values(.70mm to .90mm at throttle stop)
and using m/eter on IDL and E2 i just loosend the TPS and slowly turned it till the m/meter read continuity, then i tightened it plugged it in and hey presto waaaaaay better.

I was about 3mm out but the car was sluggish and boost felt"different" but there

i had to share this as i had searched a long time to find out about this TPS gem and the car Oracle(Toymods wizards)hadn't sooth sayed me with the info i needed.

    anyhoo cheers Guy
