Default 20V Conversion into AE92..... Fuse box???

    hi,

we have just completed a backyard conversion 20V S/top into a AE92 SX. We have almost made it home, just these 2 bugs 2 work out.

    1) Using the 20V Wiring harness, there are 3 plugs that wont plug into the original SX fuse box.... What do we do now?

    2) The AE92 100kw ecu seems to plug up to the 20V Wiring harness, does any one know if it will run using this?

any help would gladly be appreciated!

    regards
    Ahmed

You'll need the 20V ECU for the engine to run correctly with the preset settings...

With the fusebox, you can either work out what plugs have to go where by moving the individual wires or try and source the 20V Fuse Box to suit your engine, would be the best option...

As I found when wiring in my e-manage blue, Phil B's page has at least 1 error in it. Better resources are at Club4ag.

    Use the AE101 ecu

There's 2 pins on the 12 pin ECU plug you need to move, can't recall which ones but I did this exact wiring conversion 2 weeks ago and it took all of 5 minutes to cross reference the 2 diagrams and figure out what needs to be moved. Was probably the main Elec load wire and AC wire needed repinning and the FC wire had to be removed and wired to the FC trigger from the AFM.

The best way to do the wiring is to strip out all the body wires from the 20V engine loom, then strip out all the engine wires from the SX loom, then join together the 20V engine parts and AE92 body parts into one new loom. That way, you retain the AE92 fuse box, ignition trigger wires, blower wires, and the AC etc works as designed.
