    Default sourcing parts from other forums

    I know this is not technically a tech article but i believe it belongs here anyway;

    Since Toyota's are well known for the ability to pick the best parts from each car maker and modify it or fit it straight to our cars for an upgrade, a lot of parts we need to source belong to other cars, for example, the NISSAN r33 brakes a lot of us use (and im sure r33 brake upgrades will fit also) FORD BA discs, etc and the list goes on.

    While another car forums tech section might be irrelevant to us (we already know what we want) it is their FOR SALE sections that I am interested in, and would like to make a list of your favorite Australian car forums to source parts from:

    Supra Forums; for lots of engine and suspension parts

    http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/

    JZX forums:

    http://www.jzx100.com/forum/

    Soarer Forums:

    http://planetsoarer.com/

    http://soarercentral.com/cgi-bin/sc-forum/discus.cgi

    Skylines Australia (picked up a good set of r33 rear calipers here), and also foudn a very cheap source for ferodo DS2500s

    http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/home.html

    Altezza club:

    http://s4.invisionfree.com/lexusaltezzaclub/index.php?

    I deliberately left out NS and boostloosing because I feel they are treated like a free advertising service, you dont get the quality of people who are dedicated to their particular brand, just randoms who are trying to make a quick buck.

    i am also looking for some seats for a holden vn-gts so if anyone knows any good commodore forums, please post it and any other aussie only forums that are good for parts, and at least we can save these parts from going onto crap cars and put them onto a toyota!!
