    Default 3sge - 3sgte block [COLOR="Red"]Help![/COLOR]

    Guys its like 12:30am and i need immediate advice,
    For unknown reasons am putting a 3sge onto a GT4 gearbox and am having issues.
    Is there a difference between the 3sge block gen2 and a gen 2 3SGTE?????

    wont fit as the 3sgte block has some of the inlet side machined off for the gear box to fit

    So can i shave off the ribbing from the 3sge block or will i have to buy a gte block and convert everything?

    from memory some of the engine mount holes is machined away back 2 plus some others where knock sensor is as well

    Yeah, thankfully the only holes that will have to be machined off are for the intake manafold and the ribbing on the side of the block, other then that theres nothing else that needs to be ground off. I have a dummy block to test on first and see how it goes.
