The Hiace boxes also use a elec speedo sender but not sure if they would match the T50 one
Tried to borrow one from Dads van to try at the time but he said no.
The mechanical speedo drive from my T50 gearbox is too close to the tunnel wall. This being the case I have no room to screw on an electrical sender to it to be able to use an electric speedo.
What I am looking for is either a right angle drive to achieve pretty much exactly something like this;

Or I find something like this;
Again I do not know what this is off or how compatible this would be with the Toyota gearbox?
The other option is to look for an electrical sensor that will replace the gear drive sensor in the gearbox but have no idea what may be compatible?

My sig has been pruned as it was over 5 lines long.
Yeah, it looks like an MX83 one is the go, but only the early cable driven speedo models. The A340 has the same style of connector for the speedo gear as he T50.

st141 corona also had a right angle drive that was quite a tight bend - ill get a photo of one tomorrow from work

Was going to suggest the same as above, ST141 Corona.
I have been using one on my AE86 for years. No porblems.

Just to follow this up I am currently now using the MX83 bend to adapt the electronic sensor and all is working well. I have however found an electric speedo sensor from a 3VZ Camry gearbox that looks hopeful. The body is the same diameter and has mount bolt in the same location as the T50 but is a fair bit longer and has a larger gear. I think I may be able to cut the body down and use the T50 gear and shaft to make up exactly what I need. This would then make the whole setup much smaller and closer to the gearbox as well as looking a lot neater.
