Wakefield Park Track Day - Friday 7th of November!

Sure, it seems like it's a long way off... but i was supposed to be doing EC this week until it got cancelled, and there just seems to have been too much track talk around lately so i'm getting this going now to try and head off the withdrawals. And one of the organisers is off to France for the couple of months just before so we're getting organised and accepting confirmations a little early so i don't want to give you guys a handicapped start.

And starting the motivation earlier can only be a good thing for my To-Do List productivity!

Cost is $180 per car, we run a limited number of cars (30) so you pay per car and can cycle as many drivers through one car as you like, it's open track all day with 12 on circuit and a one in one out basis. I currently have 15 spots reserved for Toymodders, and can usually grab a couple more if we fill these up quick enough.

All the usual info, thursday and friday nights at the Pelican to talk shit and drunkenly exaggerate, bring CAMS or valid driver's licence, helmet, neck/wrist/ankle length clothing, sleeping bag, pillow and beverages if staying (accom is about $25/night depending on numbers).

No official timing means cheaper insurance and passengers are allowed for 'driver training purposes', but feel free to organise your own.

When you commit to coming, i will PM bank details to transfer to (even if you've transferred to me before, there's a new mortgage and so new bank accounts as of April), then when i see the coin i will add you to this CONFIRMED list;

agreed with the dry weather - although it was great expereince to push my car a lot more and not worry (too) much about hitting anything....so one track day in the rain was a great thing!!

Sun next time round though....dont think i managed to put any wear on my tyres last time

~180 at the end of the main straight and praying you don't aquaplane is not many funs (especially when you have linden in the passenger seat telling you you're a wuss for not braking later!)
