    Default ST162 warning light?!?!

    hi guys,

i own a st162 and basically my problem is the engine warning light turns on, on the odd occasion. i dont know why.
what does the light represent? low oil, high temp, etc?
when light turns on the temp is about 2/3-1/2 up the scale if that. oil pressure is normal. all fluids are full. there is no knocking (i only run vortex 98) no pinging and i cannot work out why it may come on...
btw just in case you do not know which light i am talking about it is the light on the right hand side of the headlight 'on' indicating light.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    no worries bro

on a series 2 it's almost directly beneath the firewall on the exhaust pipe - just slightly forward

yep and its a pain in the arse to get a spanner onto the good news is you can still drive around if thats the only error you're throwing, you'll just get poor fuel economy

yeah I had to use all my extenders for my socket set and got it from up top via down between the intake manifold and the firewall

I put the little flangey thing upside down on-reinstall and it was way easy then
