hey, id be up for one... but ffs.. not another coastal cruise...

every time there is one, it seems to be up the coast with no driving roads...

    hills run FTW...

even though im driving a big barge now, i still wanna enjoy it...

I reckon organise a long one, which incorporates hills, coast and bbq meet up...

    but thats just me..

I might be interested, but probably not until the 2nd of week of Sept as I'm fully booked until then. And got a bit on from early to late Oct.

totally agree, but reason i see behind no cruises is that there has been mass amounts of rain, therefore undercover parking lots are needed for meeting points.

Eg. if it was a constant long cruise ****s always get lost or left behind by those speds who race off in front of the pack as if its a fuckin race.

I wouldnt mind organising one for spring.... maybe even combine the TOYOTAcressida/ae86/supra/celica/OST/soarer central crews all together and have a huge one ?

meh, My Mark II will have new rims by end of sep , so maybe ill organize one for then

    interesting...
people calling for more cruises.. yet the past few I have organised dont seem to get the numbers down there that we used to have.

I was planning on organising one in September to get a few of the Motorvation entrants together.
I will take all suggestions on board.
But the real hassle has been the lack of co-operation from the weather.
Combine wet roads, with yahoos behind the wheel, and twisting winding hills roads, and thats a newspaper headline I dont wanna be associated with, know what I mean...
I'd hate to see someone have an accident, or get injured or worse on a cruise that I organise.

Its hard to get a cruise route that pleases everyone. Some dont wanna venture to far from the metro area. Others want a long cruise to blow out the cobwebs, but then leave the rest of the 'cruise' behind as if it were a race?..

I think you just have to keep in mind that its hard to organise a cruise that pleases every single one of the 30 - 40 odd participants that may come along on a day out. But as long as the majority of people enjoy it and interact with each other, then it can be deemed a success.

coFF33 - I'm keen to organise a mega Toyota cruise - but may save it for the warmer weather and when people have their cars back on the road.

winter seems to be a good time of the year to take your car off the road and tinker with it.. I think that also has an affect on the lack of events to attend.

Keep an eye on the events section, I'll announce the next OST cruise soon!

still if it wasn't toyota specific, i'd go even as the token equipment carrier or support vehicle or something

Hey, i know Damo is organising a cruise ATM,

so can we turn our attention to the need for an OST motorkhana day...

I personally think there is a massive need for one coz i love em...

I know there is a afarcc one coming up, but that involves other car clubs and many people would miss out..

Not too fussed on having one soon as my car still aint ready, but i would love to see one organised for later this year, or early next year.. by which time my car should be finished.. (pending sale of my audi)

    anyway, just an idea..
