Default JZX100 Wastegate Solenoid... Positive or Negative Pulse?

I am trying to troubleshoot a solenoid issue on the JZX100 wastegate. I need to know if the waste gate solenoid is opened with a negative pulse, or positive pulse?

I'm not aware of JZX100, which would be VVTi 1JZGTE (right?) having a boost control solenoid from factory...simply a hose from the output of the turbo compressor to the actuator...

    i.e.

If you have an after market boost controller, then the solenoid is usually ignition powered and Ground switched by the boost controller.

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply. Its the VVT-i, single turbo version.

We have sorted the issue out... It is controlled via a negative pulse!
