What happened to the Celica

Did the wheel come off on take off? If so, hope the damage was minimal.

i got there after its run but apparently it snapped the wheels studs and wheel came off sending it into the wall

Yeah the celica tore all the wheel studs off, wheel came off turned 90 deg and hit the car.

My best was a 21.545 @ a blistering 60.8 mile an hour

Rods was 18.577 @ 73.5 mile

We we both had issues, Rod had fuel delivery issues both this and last week. Also after swapping carbies with him I worked out the secondaries have never worked on my Carbies from day one even after a rebuild!!!!

Ah well my 4M will never see the track again nor the road after Crown picnic day.

Just to note my air temps over the night range from 35 deg to 28 deg at 8:30 which was my last run I don't know how much it cooled down after the burnout comp.
