can you not delete peoples threads just because you don't know them face to face ?

funny how people with EOI's that are well known, have their threads left there.

funny how toymods has really changed over the years..........

    Hey! What a great idea!!!
To test it out, I just wiped out all of yours.

funny how people with EOI's that are well known, have their threads left there.
These forums are massive and there are only a handful of people that volunteer their time, between having a family and full time job, to keep these forums and the Club running as smoothly as possible. So, if there are things you think we need to check, then post us a PM or email the Board, instead of some obscure commment. The mods can't check every post on every thread, so please help us out if you think something's amiss and it needs to be looked at. We appreciate it also, as it helps us when something obscure gets through and you guys pick it up for us.

funny how toymods has really changed over the years..........
Toymods??? As in the Club or these forums? We now have over 10,000 users registered on the forums and that means we have a wide ranging audience and therefore, by default, this implies more diversity of peoples attitudes and posts.

both good and bad, guess thats life hey ! must say we are all becoming a bit arse about in here !
Yep, good and bad. Take it on the chin sunshine 'cos that's life.

You want to experiment with the "report this post" button then... As River said, they can't read through everything them selves, the forums require some element of self governing... In my experience, and one who mentions EOI in their original post, will have their post immediatly followed by someone suggesting they remove the EOI status, and put a price up. This give you a chance to correct the error of your ways before having it deleted by the grumpy old forum trolls...

If you see a thread that you think is against the rules, use the report post button at the top of the post and report it. the moderators do not trawl through every thread looking for people breaking the rules.

For the most part it is your fellow forum users who report violating threads. these threads are sent to the moderators email and are usually dealt with the next time they are on.

This is the case with your thread. it was reported with in half an hour of it being posted.

There probably are threads out there in violation of the rules but the moderators are yet to come across them.

    Cheers

COULDNT HAVE SAID IT BETTER. WHAT THESE FORUMS SEEM TO BE FULL OF NOW DAYS.

in all honesty though, i do understand how this works and the reasons for it, just thought it a bit bit harsh.

this leaves me with a dilemma, what do i call my new username when i sign up to sell this vehicle ? it will be interesting to see how neg repped and 'corrolla kidded' i get when i sign up and post the thread.

I'm one of those Grumpy old forum Trolls so let me offer you some insight. "If" you create a new ID with the express purpose of breaching the forum rules because you some how feel your better than the rest of us and don't need to follow them I will take great delight in banning your new user ID, Your OLD user ID and your IP address.

This is not car sales, its not the trading post and not I don;t give a flying fuck how unfair you think it is that you have to follow the rules.

I just can't get my head around how someone could start a thread with

I know its not allowed, but selling on behalf of my best mate, who has been on here and been to many toymods events over the years (so hopefully I won't be barred, I do know the rules - let you guys decide).
Stating that they are choosing to break the rules and letting others decide if it is OK or not could then bitch when the thread was removed.

We're not going anywhere positive with this thread so I'll lock it now, any more isses open a new thread for it and we can let this one sink to the bottom.
