Default Wednesday 2 July, Test-n-Tune Drag Racing

Wednesday 2 July is State of Origin round three... so it would be a good time for a Test-n-Tune night (esp as it is a 1 each so far).

Gates open at 5pm so we'd suggest being there when the gate opens

    Is at Willowbank Raceway

$36 inc. driver and a passenger

You need a helmet with the safety cert sticker intact and neck-to-knee clothing.

    Cheers
    Wilbo

Im there if my car is finished!
Anyone wanna volunteer to come over on Sat (21st) to help get the W58 in now that I have my clutch sorted? Beer will be supplied!
Gerrard cant help as he has an exam to be studying for And I dont think I can do it on my own
But I REALLY wanna go to the test and tune and see if I can break into the low 15s with the new clutch, box and flywheel! And beat Gerrard's RA28 AGAIN!

should be a good night for getting heaps of runs in, should be cold out there too
It might still finish at 8:30 though. so getting there at about 5:30 would allow for countless runs without the annoying queuing up.

Might be able to round up a few more at the meeting tonight?

So to all the sad-arse pikers, you missed out on something good! I got to see an R35 skyline run an 11.5. Yes thats right a brand spanking new skyline GTR thats not yet released as an aus delivered car was at the drags. I saw it run three qtr mile times an 11.5 then 11.47 then 11.48 (I think) For a bog-standard straight-off-the-production-line car, I think thats pretty impressive. He wasnt' shy about launching it either.

    Other things worth noting:
    -wilbo ran some more 13s
-a silver aristo ran some 13s
    -a v8 ma61 ran some 14s

I still got home to see some of the origin game too, it was 10 all when I got home and qld then just scored a try.

no apologies for image quality - nothing compares to being there first hand
