Ra23 chassis tie bar

Anyone know if the Ta22 has the same chassis tie bar( thats the big one between the rails under radiator) as the Ra23, cheers

i think that the ta22 is narrower
i can measure the one on my 23 if you want

A measurement would be useful, 23 has severely bent bar and rails, a repacement is proving difficult to find so i'm hoping 22 is the same to give me a bit more chance, thanks

I don't think it's the same, pretty much everything forward of & including the firewall is different between the '22 & '23.

As its looking like i might have to fabricate because there is nothing available if anyone can supply a few dimensions/measurements it would be greatly appreciated

Basically a lower radiator support rail... Big rail going east west accross the bottom of the radiator support panel...

Mine has never had a hit in the front.

It is 860mm measured looking at the car from the front, on the top outside corner of each rail... ie I have measure to the outside of each rail, as I can't get in to measure from inside edge to inside edge.

although the wrecked 28 has been hit hard ,the damage is mostly on the LHS

the lower radiator support panel is knackered on the old 28
it looks as thow it had a chain around it to pull it on to a tow truck or similar
