7mgte ideling problem and pressure problem

hi,
i have two issues with the motor and in need of some advice

problem one
can running a motor (7mgte) without an alternator cause ideling issues, the cars idels rough wat do u guys reckon the problem is,

is the no alternator to blame for this

can it be a more serious problem

but once u rev it a tad it stops the "roughness in the motor"

any sugestions?


the engine hasnt been running for 2 years

Problem two

There is no pressure build up in the radiator hoses after the car being at idel for like 10mins

wat can this be??


any ideas

timing set correctly?
if timing is set then its probably an airleak post afm
