Default holden 6 cyl into early hilux 4x4

was wondering if anyone here had done it. I have a ln46 that im puting a 202 into as i had a old adaptor kit from a liteace lying around. my only problem now is what did people do for a rad stup. does the front need chopping to extend rad foward as the waterpump is pretty far foward and i do not want to put a elec waterpump on it.

Yes have done this myself many moons ago into the same LN46 and yes the rad moves quite a way forward nearly onto the bullbar , If you dont want it to overheat in summer make sure you run the engine driven fan and leave 25 mm min between the rad and fan , ideally in a 4WD you want 50mm or more,

You need to make sure that the engine came from a car of the same year model or later, otherwise you may not be able to register it.
    Grotty.
