Is this a lsd center??

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone know if this is a lsd diff center. its from e52 aw11 gearbox.

Ive got one the same installed in my curent car but it doesnt seem to work like a lsd.
ive tried testing it, like jacking up the car and turning one wheel while the other is on the ground in gear, still turns.

can't really tell by the photos, but it doesn look like an LSD to me, what series is it?

i can't see any clutch plates, fluid devices or TorSen gears.

remember a worn out LSD will operate like an open diff,

no i dont think that is an LSD.. looks like an open centre

thats an open s/c lsd center.

i do have a lsd here out of a sw20 gt turbo (basically same thing) & it is completly different

Looks like a single spinner to me.

My money is on a open center, the spider gears give it away. Can't see any form of clutch pack or torsen style gearset.
