    Default AE86 Rear Shocks into RA28

    Hey all,

    Had a search and couldn't find any substantial info, so new thread time it is...

    Will AE86 Rear Shocks suit the rear of an RA28?

    fit = yes

    not sure if the body length and travel would suit them though.
    put a pair side by side and measure the lengths to check suitability.

    cheers

    Im onto my third set of rear shocks on my RA40 ip car, i have used short stroke RA shocks, B.M.W E30 bilstines, and now using S1 RX7 shocks. The last two i had to change the lower bush to fit but all worked fine, as The Real Roadrunner said you just have to take some simple measurements but im thinking AE86 may be a bit long.

    I was thinking they may be a bit long also...

    The main reason was I found a set of Adjustable Koni AE86 rears at a very good price...

    For info:

    Koni Yellow Shocks for KE70/AE71/AE86 Rear. (P/N 80-2437 Sport)

    The AE86 shocks are shorter than RA23/28 rear shocks, and seem to be a good choice for lowered RA23/28.

    Specs: 550mm extended, 340mm compressed. (Koni RA23/28 is 575mm extended, 340mm compressed.)
