gonna look awesome mate!
Thought i'd make a thread here with all the little bits and pieces not involving the actual engine conversion of my jza80.
This one is about a little bit of fun we had cutting up the rear guards for the widebody fitment.
All pics were taken with a shitty phone camera with not enough light.
Credit goes to Linden from Roadrunner Fabrications. His reputation is well deserved.
This is Linden getting trigger happy
This is what was left. Will be all boxed up. A general note to jza80 owners: The reinforcement inside the rear guards do squat except hold the inner guard... it is not a structural component.
This is how it looks with the stock wheel for a general idea.
This is how it looks with a 19X13inch rim in lowered on it's belly position
This is a test fit of the over fender over the giant wheel.
And this is sort of the look we're going for.... talk about a phat ass
Anyway, i'll start a member's rides thread once some engine fitment/work gets started.
Cheers.
Tan.

on topic though, that is some cray-zee shee-at... talk about a wide body! is that thing gonna fit within the RTA's vehicle width regulations?
198cm.... 2 under the limit... =)
ahahahahah that's awesome... it looked pretty close
you forgot to mention, but the tyre on that rims is a 295/30/19 STRETCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is gonna be damn sexy once done!
that tyre will be moved to the front rims (19x11) and new rear tyres will be ordered... size will be 345/25/19 i think.... bah... it's something stupid wide like that... got it written down on some scraps at Linden's.
The guards are getting boxed up tonight....
I hope it does look sexy once done.... still have ALOT of money to put into it though.
Geez! Never heard of tyres being that big - from memory i can only remember the (old) Viper coming out with a 335 tyre and most of the docs i have tend to only go up to 295/305.Originally Posted by 5000gt

Yeah and that will be quite often with a 5L V12 upfrontOriginally Posted by big_zop
