    Default F series diff ratio

    i have a corona avanti auto and wanted to know does anyone know what ratio this diff should be. the manual i think is a 3.5 but i don't know what the auto would be and of course they is NO diff number on the build plate
    i need to swap it into my cressida if its a 3.5

    Can't remember what the auto has but it's definitely not 3.5, I think it's more like 3.9.

    3.7 is the auto one

    Manual is 3.58

    thanks for that i'll give it a go then and i see if its any better. because i reco this diff thats in the car now is a 3.9 or higher.

    Yeah Auto RT142 is 3.727 in my experience...

    Manual is 3.58...

    Interesting the borg warner diff with a manual feels taller than 3.58 , the aussie diffs must be slightly diff in the ratio.

    changed the diff today and its def an inprovement but i really need a 3.5. thanks ALL for the help, this will do untill i can get a 3.5 gear set
