*** TOYOTA FEST 2008 - DRAG RACING!!! - Wednesday 8th October 6pm ***

After the completition of what will hopefully be another successful Toyota Fest, Toymods is heading out to WSID on the 8th of Ocotber. This is just a couple of days after massive beers, schnitzels, pork knukle and a minor car show that draws large crowds, inclduing interstaters. There is plenty of notice so there will be no excuses for broken cars. Unless you have a 7mgte MA61 that is the 2nd unicorn.

When: Wednesday 8th October, 6pm - 10pm.
Where: Western Sydney International Dragway (WSID), Eastern Creek.
What: Drag Racing!
Why: Give everyone a reason to get their car running!
Cost: $20 for spectators and $50 for competitors.

As per the normal street meet rules, you will require:

- Helmet
- Drivers license
- Long sleeve shirt and long pants (might be an idea to look at the toymods racing shirts )

Gates open at 5pm and racing starts at 6pm until 10pm, so if you're racing make sure you get in early, it's not unheard of to be turned away at 6pm because there were too many cars.

But if you're not racing, bring a lightweight jumper and wear long warm pants because it may get very cold. We will determine who will be on the hill leading up to the night, but there is sure to be a bunch of interstate toymodders making the trip.So if you want to come along and you're not sure of who people are, drop myself or someone on the board a PM. We shall give you some contact details of who to call on the night to catch up.

Otherwise, just follow the line of modified toyotas in the pits.

Previous years have resulted in this being a great time to take time off work and enjoy the festivities.
