2jz flywheel bolt details and flywheel thickness - help ?

heya

just after the details of a 2jz manual flywheel bolt.... how long, how much shoulder, how much thread etc

also, if anyone has a stock flywheel and can measure (or knows) how thick they are at the clamoping face, that would be awesome

alternatively, im chaing some bolts for the 1uz, that needs to hold down a 12mm thick flywheel. suggestions for compatible bolts?

Can't measure thread hole depth, pitch, and diameter, then add flywheel thickness and just source some hi tensile bolts from the nut house?

2JZ Atmo are M10x1.25 They are 26.2mm long.
Shank diameter is 10mm, shank length is ~4.3mm.
ARP part number for 8 bolts is [203-2802], which is roughly $35 (http://www.vpw.com.au/product.asp?Ca...15&ProdID=2692)

Will measure my 2JZ fly at the clamping face, but im pretty sure itll be the same as my 4AG one in the order of 12mm

could you check the 4ag flywheel?

just need a bolt to suit a 12mm flywheel.

interesting though, my auto 1uz bolts look like the 1jzgte/r154 bolts with fuck all shoulder. i wouldvr thought a 12mm flywheel wouldve come with a longer shank....

i could even get away with reusing my existing auto flex plate bolts...

Yeah, my auto 2JZ bolts are just shorter versions of the manual ones. R154 and W58 flywheels are the same thickness, and im pretty sure its 10-12mm. I couldnt get at mine this morning due to the wife being called in for surg 30mins early.

The auto flexplate bolts will definately be shorter. My auto bolts only get 1-2 threads onto the crank.

The part number is the same for all R154 and W58 1JZ and 2JZ engines.

Yep, its what i have ordered for my 2JZGE/W58 combo. And what i have used and seen used on several R154 combos.

Oh yeah, and i use it on my 4AG.

VPW seem to be slow currently, i ordered last week and havnt heard a thing from them yet.

fyi 1uz auto are M10x1.25 23mm long with 2-3mm shank

Does this help Ed:

12.5/13mm thick Flywheel (2jz)

M10, 10mm shank

8 or 9mm shank, 26mm overall length.

They are stock 1/2JZ bolts, pulled off a manualised 1JZ, and also off a stock 2JZ manual.
From comparisons with other bolts they are exactly the same as my 4AG bolts. With varying degrees of rust.
