    Can i delete replies? would this be a good thing to implement. i guess you guys would have thought of it. so why is this not a good idea.

    this would be a crap idea, for example if you didn't like this reply you could just delete it

    it takes away the ability for someone to defend themself, if a reply needs to be deleted then a moderator will do it.

    only application i can see is in a tech thread where you want to clean up all the OT garbage, but a mod will do this too.

    but as stated above, you can edit them out...

    however, why would you need to completely delete your post?

    I believe you can delete your post if no one has replied since you posted, otherwise you can only edit it out. Pretty common on most forums so the person replying to you doesn't look like a complete fool talking to himself.
