Default F series Diff flange the same as E series?

Does anyone know if F series Diff flange the same as E series?

I'd like to change the Z12 diff flange to the much more common F series, as opposed to the current G series it is atm.

From my MX62 cressida memory the single piece shafts have replaceable unis, and fit to a E series diff...if the E series flange is the same as F series then I might grab the rear flange and uni from a MX62 cressida...

It'll make it easier to put different diff ratios in it (i.e. the MA61 lsd I have for it)...I won't have to change the front flange on the diff...

    Cheers

    No.

MZ12 Auto has an F series diff (3.58 ratio) with a G series flange.

The MZ12 Auto tailshaft has the larger G series (hilux) style replaceable uni as well. MA61 has smaller non-replaceable from factory unis.

MZ12 rear shaft is also longer than MA61, and the MZ12 auto yoke is A340E not A43D as found in the auto MA61.

As a not MZ12 Manual actually has a G series diff according to the EPC...

just checked the various diffs i have

the bolt patterns are the same, not 100% sure on the spigots though as the E diff was still in car with tailshaft attached.

bolt pattern was 55mm square (EDIT: may not be square, i didn't check), ~77mm PCD. the spigot on the F diff is 45mm dia.

I just went and did a quick measurement of what I have..

joecoolmk2: Any chance you measured the F spigot to be 46mm as opposed to 45??

F Series Diff Flange: (RA65 Diff)
    55mm x 55mm Square [Checked]
~45.9mm Center bore clearance for spigot on tailshaft flange (~45.85mm OD for spigot on tailshaft flange) [Checked]

G Series Diff Flange: (MZ12 Tailshaft)
    60mm x 60mm Square [Checked]
~45.9mm Center bore clearance for spigot on tailshaft flange (~45.85mm OD for spigot on tailshaft flange) [Checked]

    Cheers
