Hey Ben, i think its the commodore up to VR the hub is integral with rotor and it shares the same bearings as the XT130 hub
I cant even remember the rotor size but with the set up i have min wheel size are 14s.

it was to easy to get and all bolt up engineer luved it

    Hope that helps.

    Hi,

so no machining at all??? Was it the hilux caliper that you used?? I found on the old forums that someone used a vs which is basically identical to a vr anyway.

    Waiting for results.

EDIT - going by dba catalogue vr onwards was seperate to the hub.

amon..did you buy the whole hub rotor combo to fit

can you put up a pic.. i tried a whole combo of stuff.

the vl turbo/v8 discs fitted pretty well

just keen to see how you did this with a vr + model

    Hi,

thought i might let you know that i found a peugeot spares guy near where i live. Bought the last set of rotors he had but is expecting more in a month or two. There is also a major peugeot spares place in victoria that currently has at least one set. 107 each rotor and about 20 postage. $250 will easily see them to your door. Pm me for details if you're interested.

Hey fellas, bit of a stuff up(opened mouth before brain engaged)they where HQ vented discs with integral hub sharing the same bearings with the XT130 strut stub and yes they bolted up no machining,it ran true through the center of the Hilux 4 spots with rotor height clearance.

    Cheers Guy

ps I do believe you can get them blank as well

Hey Chief at least I don't have the second sign of madness, (trying to fix a Celica) But I’ll start to worry when I see the third tell tail sign (denial) lol.

I wanted an off the shelf bolt in option.
The Peugeot 504Rotor are not available in un-drilled any more & you have to machine down the diameter & re-drill mounting holes to fit under the S12W, I found people would do the work, but advised not to.

    amon
I had a look at the HQ rotor and it runs at 276mm @ 25.4, which will not fit the S12W so, are you using the S13W caliper?
If so would you be able to take a few measurements for me?
What have you done about your diff bolt pattern?
Based on the info I got from the 240Z forum the S13W take an extra 5mm of rotor diameter than the S12W so that forum data may be wrong!

    Spectre
The Twin piston from the XT132 cant accommodate a ventilated rotor & you can use a spacer in the caliper but your back to the 504 rotor.

The S13W has a 29mm rotor slot and is 10mm wider that the S12W, the pistons are also 2mm larger.

concussion The S13W may acctually fit up
The JZS133 rotor at ex-japan $163.00 each (depends on the exchange rate)

I have includes the other caliper for those interested

For this caliper ideal rotor 296mm @ 25mm hat of 42.5mm with min 15inch rims

Strange... lots of us have done it without problems.
My engineer (a picky bastard) even OK'ed it.

The rotors can be had cheap, and it doesnt cost much to have them machined down and re-drilled.
Its a lot of trouble your going to when a proven solution already exists.

i looked at the HQ combined disk/hubs a while back - but the PCD isn't 114.3x5, it's something lightly different - 4 3/4" from memory.

This might help those chyoosing hubs (shameless stolen from an ebay store's tech page for trailer parts):
    Ford - 1/2" UNF studs - 5 Studs - PCD 114.3mm - 68mm from stud to stud

    Holden HT / Early Holden - 7/16" UNF studs - 5 Studs - PCD 108mm - 65mm from stud to stud

    Holden HQ - 7/16" UNF studs - 5 Studs - PCD 120.6mm - 72mm from stud to stud

    Commodore - 7/16" UNF studs - 5 Studs - PCD 120mm - 72mm from stud to stud

    Gemini - 7/16" UNF studs - 4 Studs - PCD 100mm - not available in braked kits

    Toyota - 7/16" UNF studs - 4 Studs - PCD 114.3mm - not available in braked kits

    Landcruiser 80 series - 1/2" UNF studs - 6 Studs - PCD 139.7mm - 70mm between studs

    Landcruiser 100 series - 9/16" UNF studs - 5 Studs - PCD 150mm - only available in drums

I have seen the solution you mention but not 100% happy, I really don't like the idea of modifying consumables & you end up with an unbalanced rotors.

My main problem is finding specs on calipers,
If any one can point me in the direction of caliper specs, (one with the same spacing as the XT130 strut) that would be much appreciated

Thank you for the info chuckster

Question: if any one has a S13W maybe some of the HQ setups I would like the know what the clearance is at the top of the rotor?

no luck searching for a caliper which just fits together,
I did however find the E: size for the S13W, and that will take a 284mm rotor, the only problem with this is an off set of 4 mm on the rotor location, so a spacer of 5mm will be needed between the rotor and hub leaving only 3mm of the locating collar on the hub which may not be sufficient to hold the rotor in place.

So the above option will need a custom spacer made.
The other option would be to make a bracket for the caliper but if I do this then I can use any caliper.
I will order the JZS133 rotors while I look at these two options

Just received a set of S13WB after measuring it turns out these are different to the S13W the main difference is the height (E to small) and will only take the same diameter rotor as the S12W but will accommodate a 25.4mm thick rotor, I have posted the data in post #2 above.

    Hilux S12W A:28.9mm B:88.9mm 3.5inch C:23.3mm D:103mm E:63mm 4 Piston @ 43.5mm
    Hilux S13WB A:31.2mm B:88.9mm 3.5inch C:28mm D:112mm E:63mm 4 Piston @ 43.5mm
    Hilux S13W A:31.5mm B:88.9mm 3.5inch C:29mm D:112.5mm E:72.5mm 4 Piston @ 45.3mm

Still trying to track down a set of S13W

Looking as using a 2 piston PBR caliper from a BA falcon with an adaptor.
They use 38mm pistons and a larger pad area of 71cm2.

Does any one know what the pad area of the S12W unit is?
And would the lager pad size af the PBR unit compensate for the reduced piston size ?

    Edit:
S12W = 64cm2 pad area while the S13W is about 10% more (from Zcar forum)
