well its good to know that its not your fault you can't read and thats why you spread rumours that aren't true.

My EPC states JZX90 piston with pin assy as P/N 13101-88400
JZX100 piston with pin assy as P/N 13101-88410

care to explain why the internals that are EXACTLY the same have a different part number.

would you like me to waste my time looking up any other internal differences for you? port design, combustion chamber shapes, valve materials etc?

unless of course you have actually had hands on experience to KNOW 100% what you are about to tell ppl is correct then maybe some research on your behalf wouldn't go astray.

    cheers

PFC for VVT 1JZ (JZX100) is still being made, mine was $817 inc delivery from greenline just a couple of months ago.

I believe the HKS vcams have just stopped being made though?

If the blocks are the same then...2JZ block under a VVT 1J head, can it be done?
I've heard it can't be done with VVT 2JZ block and regular won't go though?

There is a jzx100 mark II built by Rasty for Tsukuba time attacks that has a VVTi 1.5JZ. So its definitely possible.

Adaptronic is far from expensive and will control vvti if you so choose.

can they run a 36-2 pickup? may need some slight programing to get the right control.

The adaptronic can run the 36-2 pickup and do closed loop VVTi control, they developed the VVTI control on a beams 3S

Cool, something I want to do eventually, without the legalities and stuffing around with wiring of the older non-vvt 2J or even the vvt 2J

I heard on jzx100.com......but looking on the greenline site HERE, it looks like just the IN and EX kits are discontinued? while just the IN kits are still available, but who knows what the real story is if it's still on the HKS site??
