    Curious what it runs like
Not yet, but there's a mate of mine in Holland that's built one almost exactly the same. It makes 248hp @9,000rpm.

its not the injection that wont pass rally regs (well actually that too) but its the fact they were never homologated/built with 4ages, only to run the 2tg and 4ac. therefore you have to run same block and head. well externally 4age blocks are similar to 4ac so you may be able to get away with it. however 4age heads are majorly different to 4ac, and id bet my bottom dollar the sprinter guys + others would have a major sook if ya tried to enter a 4age ae71.

so when where 2tg's released in a AE71? i'm pretty sure there where import TE7* with 4age's, so i would think that this would be fine.

on the 4ac side of things, i changed my mind stop spending money on them all together! i wasted almost $400 on a 4ac when i could have put that towards a 4age.

The only difference between the 4AC & 4AGE is the dang head .
Same block & bore , the GE just breathes better !
So just buy the head !

what part of the "Suck,Squeeze,BANG,blow" confuses you?
There is no BANG in the head, its in the cylinder, pushing on the piston, piston pushes the conrod, conrod pushed crank, crank goes 'round.

to a Point! you have the old 5 ribbed blocks, and the 7 ribbed blocks, and you have inbuilt oil squirters in some 7 ribbed blocks.
different pistons too, so you cannot just shovel a 20v on a 4ac the 5 valve cutouts on the pistons are not present in the 2 valve cutouts in the 4ac pistons, So, you'll need pistons changed, and doing that, need different conrods, which needs different crank, in swapping that, it'll need different flywheel.

and there is always one that doubles up on posts eh?

Moving on, there is a fella that got ~115HP out of a 4AC, quite a bit of work went into it: und-R-steer
    https://web.archive.org/web/20180423...eep-your-4a-c/
(have to wayback machine the site, as of now its giving me 404 on the page)
or if you have 4ac powered forums login:
    http://4ac-powered.forumotion.com/t1...te-4ac-stage-1

so yeah, if you willing to put money into a 4ac, get a Schneider 300F cam, some extractors, mod the intake plenum to have less corners for the air, or go dual 40DCOE (with own hand made intake adapters since no one knows where to get them now), you might be able to get some power.. if not, it'll sound better then before. lightened flywheel, shaved head, hell, why not stroke it with a 7A crank? or a 2ZZ crank? (anyone ever done that yet?)

so why throw away 4ac's? the same reason people throw away 4K's ..oh wait, look at all the mods people do with them old pushrod wheezers.
