PCD is 4x100 not 114.3. I think you'll struggle with any decent size tyre/wheel combo with Kings Super Lows.

Hi Guys,
Long time no post, just moved house again and are renting whilst building again!
I want to get a set of Speedy Holotype R's. They are 16 x 7 and want to have 205/45/16 tyres. Will they fit without scraping? I have kings super lows now and monroe gt gas shocks. Can put standard springs back in if required.
AE93 sizes are: 114.3 and 35 offset?
What mags do you guys have and what size etc?
Cheers
Daniel

That's true, I would strongly suggest getting your guards rolled. Factory offset is 38+ with 185 R14 SX alloys. I'm running 195 R15s and they have a +40 offset. My rims clear the front struts by miles but the rears scrape the struts, thus needing a 2.5mm spacer.
Anyway whatever you buy, make sure it clears the rear struts without hitting the guards and you'll be fine. My guess is you won't be able to go wider than 205 but that's just a guess. Also remember larger diameter wheels tend to be wider.
I have an ae93 seca sx with king lows and munroe shocks. I run 17" ROH Adrenalins with 205/40/17 tyres. I occasionally have some scraping problems when turning on full lock and very rarely a tyre bumps the top lip of the wheel arch.
Personally, I think the 17's are too big for the seca (and are absolute max for my setup) and the tyres are very pricey. Sure it looks nice but I'd rather have a nice set of 15" Gram Lights.
I think that 16's are your absolute upper limit, and if you drive like a bit of a maniac like I do then go for 15's.
on my ae93 i have superlows and 17" rims with 215 wide rubber, its looks and sits good but thats about it, its crap to drive and scrubs a lot...
I spoke to Speedy yesterday and they seem to think the wheels will fit without a problem, so I ordered them yesterday from Tyrepower with 205/45/16 Hancook k104's and it's costing me $1350.00, which is pretty good I think.
They should be getting fitted today.
Will post some pics once there on.
Cheers for all your advice!

I've got 17"x7" ROH Adrenaline rims and run 205 40 tyres. The car also has superlows which are now pretty rooted in the back and they sit about 1" lower than when i first put them in. They used to not scrub but now they do especially with 1 person in the back. If i've got 3 ppl in the back then the tyre almost never leaves the guard and is constantly scrubbing. I'm gunna get new springs....eventually.

They were fitted yesterday and look awesome.
They do scrape a little bit at the front but I'm getting the guards rolled to combat that, otherwise no problems at all!
They certainly helped cure my traction issue!
Cheers

Glad to see your happy, all the best with your wheels. Youll have to post some pics up for everyone - LeeRoy

Cured your traction issues eh? Maybe I need wider wheels.... I still am disappointed.
What width you running Talasas?
