same procedure for the wiring, you need the manual shafts from memory, also need an 8-bolt flywheel and matching clutch assembly.
I have sourced a complete and low milage 4AGE 20V BT engine set but unfortunitely it comes with a automatic tranny. But luckly I have also sourced a 6speed tranny complete with mounts, linkages and shifter. together they still cost less than if I picked up a 4AGE20V+6speed combo. =)
Now as for the conversion, do anyone know if I may be able to use the Auto ECU for the 6speed? - I have done a 5speed conversion for a 7AFE equipped with a automatic tranny from factory and all I did was jump the clutch to start wires, hook up the reverse light switch, and place some resistors where the ECT sensor used to sit to eliminate the check engine light. - Do anyone know if the procedure will be the same?
The swap also comes with axle shaft, will the shafts from a automatic transmission fit into the 6speed manual transmission (this worked with the 7AFE AT->MT convo as well)
Just want to be sure before I buy, thank you!

In the case of the axle shafts, will shafts from the 5 speed fit the 6 speed?
sure do....
thanks mate!
oh one more question, does the LSD / non LSD trannys use the same axles? I am not yet sure if the C160 I found is LSD equipped.
on the e series boxes, the shafts form lsd to non lsd are different. not sure how it applies to the c series
yes they can be different
if the box is from a superstrut car it will be LSD and the inner shafts will be a few mm shorter.

Is that because of the lsd or the superstrut? ie Will a LSD-optioned non-superstrut car have the shorter or longer shafts? And is it an issue when doing a conversion, like installing into AE92? Or do both shafts fit?

when you talk ae111 superstrut = LSD as well.
the issue with the INNER c/v shaft will be the LSD. the spline will be a few mm longer on a non LSD axle and could smash into the LSD. however i dont know for sure that they are long enough to be a problem. its is on all other toyota diffs/boxes though

Ah ok. I wasn't sure if you could get LSD option on non superstrut, but that's cleared it up - just make sure you get shafts from the box and you'll be right.
