Yep you got me intrested, What mods are we talking about to the stock manifold that can yield results? I belive this is the type of info we are trying to flesh out. and Jason or anyone else, are these custom manifolds avaliable? note I don't want one right now but I think I might in the not to distant future.

Btw I am about to have my engine dyno tuned with a megasquirt (was on the dyno recently but blew the radiator(crap radiator)). I will post results and calibration when avaliable.

    Cheers

Hey guys, a quick question for those allknowing about 3tgte's

below the oil filter there is a nosel that has a hose that connects to it, and i have no idea where this (assumed oilline) goes to. i thought it may have been an oil coooler, but i dont wee where it would have re entered the block if this was the case.

thanks for any input guys. Jamie

haha, it's reccomended that you have a oil cooler since the connection is there. Same as an intercooler keeps the temps down and improves performance. Mine doesn't have an intercool though still figuring out where i want to put it

    Jamie,

At the very least you need to run the oil line, you can't just block it off as the oil feed is temperature switched to the bottom fitting once it gets hot - ie it was designed to work with an oil cooler.

Then it must be 50mm to 60mm then. It is defiantly bigger than stock. Fits good. Just make sure the plate you build isn't to thick. If you use to thick a plate then the TB hits the valve cover.
