ok maybe, but all the ones i've pulled out have 82'C written on them. the fully open temperature i don't believe is the temperature it starts opening at? If you live in a cold climate like up in norway/finland/canada etc then higher rating usually used. Can't see why someone in hot australia would use a hotter thermostat? feel free to converse on this, it'd be interesting to know.

3tgte engine wiring diagram is not hard to find. google it and click images.
    some here i've mirrored. http://www.toycrazy.net/tech/3tgte.htm

It looks basically like the one you have on your site, but with slightly better quality.

Keep your original boots and replace the leads in them using a cheap V8 set.

They are generally available through yahoo auction for about 30% off list price. (Plus whatever the auction exporter requires.)

    hey guys names phil
had a 3tgte kicking round for about 6 months now trying to decided what to jam it in
thought about the whole 7m injectors and 5m afm and trying to squeez every kw out of the stock comp but f that
so ive decided to go stand alone with waisted spark setup
with a fairly oversized turbo and built auto to get her up on boost and keep her there
its goin to be goin it my ke20 so should be quite the handfull
basicaly im wondering if anyone is using a built auto behind one what are u using?
if not does anyone know of a good box that is easily built to handle around the 400hp mark
im gonna throw a fair bit of money at this thing and have no intentions of getting it done in a month hell il be glad to drive it by next christmas
so anyone goin auto and big turbo combo?

have not herd of it done, the 3tgte did come out with an auto I belive. How about an auto from a 1ggte or 1gge the bolt pattern on the block is the same as the 3tgte (i.e. 1g bell housing fits a 3tgte).

Just putting a CALL out for a 3tgte ign and fuel map to suit low compression pistons. (7:1~7.5:1).. My motor idles fairly well with the exhaust manifold fixed up, its just still gutless and not getting a decent power band. Turned off the O2 sensor bcuz the LC1 shit it self and wouldnt heat up my sensor so bad readings. Ideally im after a manifold pressure map or even a manifold pressure vs tps. and yea ign map. 3jcelica was kind enough to send me his, but it only allows for it to run roughly. This is only a temp and I'll put it on a dyno soon but if I can just get it running a little nicer that would be awesome.
I've set the injectors on the ECU to generic medium opening speed of .08ms and I'm running full sequential fuel and ign. So yea if anyone can help thanks in advance.!

    Hey there Radar,
I am assuming you have a programmable ECU there.
Straight up I know nothing about programming fuel injection... I run carbs...

Ignition on a 7:1 compression engine however is right down my line! Give it something under 20 degrees initial for cranking over and bump it straight up to around 35 (or over) degrees right from idle to 0psi (onset of boost). Currently I have two 7 to 1 compression engines and both are running around 45 degrees initial up until the onset of boost.

If you try to run a low comp engine on a 'normal' ignition map it will be gutless and much less than a pleasure to drive.

    Cheers,
    Jason

Are you talking after TDC or before TDC? If it's before wouldnt that just be making the motor detonate?(well have similar charataristics as detonation?)
    EDIT**
Tried with 45degrees timing, still is popping and idle doesnt really change. Very much over this low compression crap!
