Website has been updated with some fresh information I recently received from Grant.

    www.toyota-nationals.org.au

Grant will be on early in the new year to answer any questions you may have about the changes to this years event.

I'm going to be there with "bells on" and alot of Supras in tow...

    Easter March 21-23, 2008 in Dubbo,NSW

Now that 2008 is nearly upon us(at the time of writing..) time to get some information updated. The event will be held in Dubbo again for 2008 over the Easter long weekend from April 6th to 8th.
Tops says March 21-23, text says April 6-8...!

Also all the other pages except the main page have "The Toyota Nationals 2007" for the Title as opposed to 2008!

Great to see it getting updated

    Cheers
    Wilbo

I'll have to get something in the drags this time though...

Unfortunately we have been informed by DCCC that Wellington Council have put the airport hire fees so far through the roof that it is no longer viable for drags to be run at Bodangora. While I intend to contact the council myself next week to see if a one-off arrangement can be made, we are currently working on a tar motorkhana as an alternative event. The SA club have confirmed they will run the motorkhana so all we need now is a suitable location. Dave McNeill will drive to Dubbo in late January to scout around but if anyone knows of somewhere suitable please let me know.

I have been racking my brain trying to think of something suitable

all i have really come up with are some shopping centres car parks, other than that i can't think of other large tarmac areas in the dubbo area.

If a car park is suitable, Centro has a nice large one that doesn't have any trees or anything on it.

Or there is another one near the visitors information centre, but it isn't quite as big.

Thanks. A car park is suitable but approval could be a problem if it's privately owned. We were hoping there might be council car park other than the one at the Vistor Center (they said no to that location last year).
