    Default Power Window Adjustment?

    Guys,

Ive just purchased myself very nice MX83 Cressida, but it has issues with the power window on the drivers side.

Ive got the door to pieces currently, and basically from what i can see, the motor and switch work fine, but when you close the window, it hits up too high, and causes the motor to become jammed, and the window then wont move or work correctly.

Is there a way to fix this at all?

Maybe tighten the bolts that hold the whole lot together in a different spot so that the window sits higher, then the mechanism doesnt get jammed on the end of the teeth?

    Thanks

If the regulator is the cable type that has the glass running up a rail in the centre, remove the bolts that hold the glass to the carraige that runs up and down on the wide rail. than check how much side to side/ rocking movement is in the carraige. if it feels excessive .. replace it.

perhaps you can adjust the front or rear channel that the glass runs in. what condition are your bailey channels in (the rubbers that the glass slides in)?
