Default Eastern Creek Twilight Event 25/1/08

    Hi Guys,

Posting this for a friend at circuit club:

    Date: 25th January 2008, 5pm-9pm
    Venue: Eastern Creek Raceway

Price: $235 per driver, Maximum 55 drivers

    Official Timing Included, Specators Free!

    Sorry, no passengers allowed

All bookings should be sent to [email protected]. Send in your interest and we will send a form with all the details back to you!

I'll be there, hope to see some other toymodders about there. In the past their days have been pretty organised, and geared for both novices and the serious track day travellers.

    Cheers,
    Johnny

I was tempted.. but $235 seems steep only the few sessions you'd get in?
I paid $220 for a full day at EC last year.. Maybe im off track though and things have gone up....

I took this from what narada said on the circuit club forum about track time:

Normal Drivers licence is fine =)

There are only 2 groups, each with a maximum of 25-30 cars. Each session is 20 mins which means you will get a lot of running

Its basically the same amount of running as a full day hehe

you get 2 hours of driving, which is 120minutes which is 6 sessions which is about around 48 laps Shocked

Most dont last that long though

Hey there, it's been a while. I recently got my 2-way LSD finally. I was thinking of doing this event, but the weather is still too hot and I don't want a repeat of my last trip to EC when my radiator blew. I am thinking about doing the drags next wed though. Have you ever taken your V8 down? How did it go?
    cheers

Never taken mine down the strip - not really my thing but I like to watch.

You should be right with a twilight session and a new radiator.

Well my Mrs is on maternity leave now so we have to be careful with the $$.
The twilight session will have to wait a bit, but if it's not raining I can afford the $50 for the drags. I just want to get a figure for fun. The last guy to have this Mines ECU got a 13.8 down the 400m with a Soarer. If I can get under 15.0 I will be happy.
I was looking at your new videos from Philip Island with the Testarossa, very cool!!
Keep up the good work. You have your small turbo in yet?
    cheers

My car's with Neil Griffiths having a mid-size single fitted (KKR480). Not much to report on yet but I'll be updating my ride thread when I have some pics.

    Hi Guys,

One of the guys just sent me this link, i know it's not very toyota related, although you get to see my ugly gob in a trd cap if that counts anything towards toyota representation!

So who's getting out there for this? It's a hell of an experience, and you'll get enough daylight runs before it gets too dark, so don't worry about that.

Temps will be no issue, only thing is if it's a really hot day and you have to deal with track temp falling a fair way, just need to keep an eye on tyre pressures.

They still have some spots free i'm pretty sure.
