    Default 3RZ supercharger questions :)

Ok, i have a mate that wants to supercharge his SR5 Hilux 4x4. His is the 2.7 litre model.

He is looking at this as he wants to improve bottom end power and some.

I have heard that the Eaton M90 off a Dunnydoor is a good pick but am after more info or advice to be sure.

If there are any links you could put up about the 3RZ blower mods that would be great.

    Thanks guys,

    Heath.

you can have read up on my build up but there really isnt that much relevant to what you want to do.

the only thing mine will have in common with yours is the engine name. mine will have a forged bottom end, aftermarket computer, injectors, manifold, etc.

best thing to do is find a blower and work things out as you go

Yes have already had a look at your thread recently but there's not much info as yet on the supercharger.
Also i would imagine that everything you do to your 3RZ is relevent to our engine as it means that this might have to be done to ours as well.

Reading your above post and your thread opens up heaps of questions such as
Does this stuff need to be done? Info on why is also helpful?
Why is the M90 the best SC?
How easy is it to fit up?
How hard was it to find one?
What power increase do u expect?
What additional things will i need?
    etc.

It sounds like you have done your homework and info from your self and others in the know will help us do ours.

As i find out more info i will share with you guys to get your feedback.

This will be an interesting project i would imagine...

    Thanks,

    Heath.

best bet would be to search for the 2 guys that have built boosted 3RZs

BeRad and -=L=a=n=c=e=- or whatever his alias is. look for their members rides.

there is always M90s on ebay.

easy? i dont see things as easy or hard, they're either a small or large amount of work. ive also got other space constraints that you dont which influence where i mount things.
