Lightbulb 289 Windsor in to Hilux. NOW EFI

Has any one else done this conversion.
    289 Windsor & C4 into a Hilux RN84R.

    I have seen heaps of V6 & Holden V8`s

Here a few pics of the install. So far I have spent about $11k.

Whats done! Just fitted EFI and a EMS, ECU

strong 289 Windsor with all the fruit. around 350Hp.
    C4 box stage 2 sift kit & 2500 stall.
    B & M shifter.
upgraded to carpet.(better than vinyl from the factory.
    Gas struts for the bonnet.
Twin 2.5" full stainless steel exhaust with dumpy mufflers.
    Gauges. oil temp,oil pres,water temp,A/F ratio,sniffer in engine pipe
    block hugers
    Diesel Hilux radiator.

This thing is FUN to drive

Next on the list of things to do.
    1.fit a 9" if the G292 gives up.
    2. Airbags for the rear.
5.do you have any ideas. This a daily driver don`t go overboard.

    160 Liter drop tank.

    M/T wheels with yohky352`s

    nice work man, thats sick.

now its time to put on a styleside, body drop it a few inches, put in some bags with a big compressor and big lines. that way when you blow off a commodore you can drop the arse end of the hilux and give em a nice blanket of sparks

very neat looking truck, Windsors are a tough little motor, Is it engineered? particularly interested in how you got around the emissions problems. ?

Hi. I still need to upgrade the front brakes to BA rotors & calipers it should then pass.
Emissions is not such a big deal here in Tassie. I have made no structural changes to the chassis and could refit old motor very simply. I have tried to make it look like it belongs under the bonnet. NOT like some rough jobs I have seen.

Hey That is one nice looking 440. A friend had one with a blown 401 Windsor. As a drag car. They have a nice shape and stance.
