You can check all your TRD parts here. http://trdparts.jp/english/top.html
Oil filters this way >> http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_oil-filter.htm

Also good for spotting fake items on ebay. That place seems rife with fake oil and radiator caps.

Oh, I use the TRD filter and Royal Purple oil, seems to be going pretty good.

Given I am the local castrol distributor, Thought I should comment, GTX 2 is the same as Gtx2 20w 50, is a name change only to bring into line with Castrol / BP's international naming. GTX original is also a 20 w 50 and also suitable. Personally I use visco 2000 for general use and corse plus for competition, but will probably go to Castrol shortly using GTX2 me 20w 50 on road and edge sport 20w 60for competition.

Use one on the Supra, originally got one cause it was $10 with part of an order with some of my other parts, but as stated, my oil is staying golden for longer, dunno, I've had them in for the last year. Gone through 3 now, they cost abit more than the $10 I paid for the first one, I think CHT have them for $40 or so...

    Also look good

Both, is a mixture of local and imported, automotive is only a very small part of the business, agriculture and industrial are the big areas. Most people would be surprised to know who owns Castrol and who started it though.

that "supra" filter shown isnt what we get here.....
    we get 90915-20003
which looks the same internally as the 90915-20004
just a shorter filter..... like the 10003 vs 10004

Sure is nowadays, started by a guy named Wakefiield in England. Used to be owned by Burmah fuels before they went bust. Is interesting when you get to know some of the details of oil capabilities and (getting back on topic) the effectiveness of various oil filters. The wrong oil in an engine with an incorrrect filter element can create untold problems. The number of people I have come in trying to buy a one stop oil for all their engines is crazy, then they cant understand why the oil fails quicker in one engine compared to the other one. Often they use the cheapest generic filters they can get combined with the wrong viscosity oil. TheTRD filters are good, but so are the ryco ones depending on the application. I have never had a problem with a ryco or a toyota filter, cant say the same for valvoline or some other brands.
Oils and filters do much much more nowadays than simply lubricate moving parts, they are integral to emission controls and engine operating temperatures, ash removal, piston and ring temperature control etc etc.

Here are some superseeded part numbers.

    RRP AUD$

Toyota part number: 90915 10001 changes to > YZZC3, changes to> 10003, changes to> YZZE1, which is the current part number.
    = TRD number 90915 SP000 $36.30

    90915 10002 > YZZA4 > 10004 > YZZC4 > YZZE2
    = TRD number 90915 SP010 $36.30

    90915 20001 > 20003 > YZZB3 > YZZD2
    = TRD number 90915 SP020 $39.32

Any one of those TOYOTA part numbers will interchange to the TRD part number.

Just to clarify 9000rpm's post - Those part #'s above are superseeded to standard Toyota filters as I have just been advised by the TRD dealer.

using the Part #: 90915-SP010 has scored me a hit in the EPC with no forwarding part number to the standard filter.

the item will get here on Friday, i'll advise if it's a TRD unit or not
