Bring yourself and your new bike to Canberra one day for some riding on our tracks - plenty to choose form these days

I'm just thinking 90kms on off road tyres might be asking a bit too much

I think you can enter on the day. I should probably check Which ride are you thinking of? the short (56km) or full (90km) ride? The shorter ride starts near the peak of the first major climb... oh well, a few days to decide

YLD - If I'm not organised enough to have road tyres for road rides, or to change the oil 3 days before wakefield, you reckon I'll ever be organised enough to drive down to canberra for a bike ride?

Pump the tyres up to the max pressure they are rated to. Then sit back and have a nice warm cup of concrete and HTFU

Yeah, they were on 40 when I got it and went to 60 for the spring cycle. I think they go to either 80 or 85.

My boss is going for kicks, he can ride for hours and not even get tired, he's going even further south for lunch.

No thanks, a little too far for me. Have fun though

But the new car would fit a bike better than the old one?

I'd be driving his echo which has a bike rack. Not sure if me or my parents have that job yet, supra would fit the bike in the back seats down, both ford and corona have/had a tow bar so bike rack would be easy to fit.
