    Default turbo conversion on ae112rlevin

    hey guys,

    finally got accepted into the forums

    just a question i was seriously lookin into a turbo convo for my 2000 levin the thing is that its auto.... does it matter??? a couple of poelpe said that autos like turbos???
    is that true will there be any complications....

    Yeah, autos like turbos. My last CT36 married an A340.

    It's not so much that autos like turbo, it's more that you don't have as much problem with lag, especially on the dragstrip, as you can spool the turbo against the torque converter. That being said, autos are 'orrible bits of shite, and you're far better off with a manual.

    If you do want to go ahead with it, I'd get an oil cooler for your auto, because it'll be working a whole lot harder, and research exactly what you want out of the car before you start this kind of major work. It's not going to be the greatest base for a motorkhana or curcuit car, because the auto will hamper you in a big way, apart from anything else.
