Speedo not working in my Z10 Soarer

Hey guys, the speedos not working on my Z10, and not having muchb experience with digital speedos, let alone the one in my newly purchased Z10 i'm at a bit of a loss here as to what's going on. Being digital I would assume it's not something as simple as a broken speedo cable though even though i'd like to be proven wrong, but i'm assuming there's something more to it then that. Also the reverse lights aren't working either would that have anything to do with it? could it be a loom that's unpluged at the gearbox that could be causing the issues? or possibly something else if it were an analouge dash then I would assume a broken speedo cable, but given it's what it is i'm not to sure.

Its a cable.
Check to see if its snapped.

Reverse lights on a manual, check the plug on the side of the box, and check fuses.
Reverse lights on an auto, check fuses.
