Mine would be described as finished too, but I reckon I can squeeze a few more laps out of them. Pity one has a big old flat spot now though, might chuck it on the rear and spin it round again .

Ah I get you, that's why it's good the Toyo site has a list of stores that are distributers of their competition tyres.

It needs to settle down? Sounds like your talking about a person not a car

It's all about comfort level As said to you on the phone, I was as happy as a pig in shit to thrash the sprinter around wakefield time and time again with only a tyre pressure check in between ... but.. as toys get more expensive so does comfort level I'm still not entirely comfortable with this track day

Oh yeah, RT215 here also - 4th set on 3 different cars - I love it!

Assign a project manager to ensure it happens in your absence

Don't forget there's also the Lowenbrau dinner that night - attendance is compulsory

Hehe yeah that is exactly it Mos you do need to sometimes treat these GT4's like a spoilt child or they can throw a tantrum

Not sure I put my point accross well enough - the car will most likely be fine, even if you don't baby it so to speak. The comfort level is purely with the owner/driver.

My car spent 90 minutes on the dyno through multiple power runs - the thing that squealed like a pig (hydro pump) has now been eliminated - everything else seeemed to hold up fine, nothing burnt, nothing melted, etc. Chances are it will be fine for the 10-20 minute stints at the track. Sure there will be limits to longevity of components but part of it is to recognize when something is telling you it's had enough (like watching the temp gauge).

It's very much a personal thing about being comfortable thrashing your car around. You will either get more comfortable or more paranoid (I'm hovering towards the paranoid ).

As long as I can drive home at the end of the I'm happy .

Had a new oil cooler core arrive yesterday, the old tube and fine core wasn't doing as well as I'd hoped after the last track day, it was ok, but not doing as well as I wanted.

Yep, when you consider the compound is stuffed after twelve months anyway, if you don't wear them out beforehand - why not make full use of those style tyres on the street!
