well i've done some investigating and there may be a route change due to the spring cycle.

Well the supra is a 50/50 now, mum washed it today for me (one thing less to do) but went to drive it tonight & it didn't start, hoping its just the battery as it hasn't been driven much lately.

The Spring Cycle ran on the same day as mega cruise last year (which is why I missed it and will also miss it again this year sorry) and I believe the Bridge was only closed south-bound (in the direction of the ride) and there were in fact cars travelling north across the bridge at the same time we were riding across it...

I'd say you should probably be right (especially if you're a little late on the departure) but I haven't checked for road closures so can't say for sure whether this year's going to be different to last..
