    Default Queensland Challenge

Is anyone else competing in this event?
It is on the 28th of this month. It is a touring road event put on by the Brisbane Sporting Car Club. The event starts at QR at 6.50 am and will conclude at about 4pm. The event is a mix of navigation and driving events with the big rumour that the finish will be at Lakeside.
Unfortunately i wont be running my WRX but i am running the mighty 23 if all goes well.
it will be interesting as i havent driven a big hp rear wheel drive car with a locker for quite some time. Should make for some interesting spectating.
I will try to keep this updated as more details come to hand.

Me & wilbo are doing this next year - we were too slack in getting licences organised for this year.

Am hoping there's another road event later in the year

yeah you should be able to get a day licence for only around $25, then you can also upgrade the day licence to a year licence (if you do it within 1 month) and get the $25 or wotever it is off the yearly price

    begging email sent to wilbo

There's a few things that scrutineers might not like about either of our cars - the barely-legal rear tread being one and the abundant use of ziplocks to hold my fuel system together underneath the car

    Thanks mate.
The sillycar will be very interesting to watch round QR.
We are car 11 so with the early morn start, cold tyres and heaps of grunt
i can see some big drifts happening
The finish sounds like it could be back at willowbank on the autocross track so that should be fun too
My navigator is a noob so i better not try to him too much
